To conduct a comprehensive market analysis for the health and wellbeing industry to support the launch of a new digital start-up. This includes examining industry trends, assessing competitors, and identifying B2B/B2C priorities. Develop a strategic launch plan that considers market positioning, competitor benchmarks, and regional growth opportunities.

Market Research & Competitor Analysis 

  • Conducted a detailed competitive analysis by identifying key players, performing SWOT analysis and providing recommendations for operational, commercial, and legislative strategies. 
  • Provided a quick glance at the top three competitors, including an overview of all products, services, and pricing details and understood their unique value propositions. Additionally, compared their touchpoints, targets, commonalities, funding raised and conducted a detailed analysis of their services. 

Customer Segmentation & Pricing Strategy

  • Identified B2B client’s employee challenges, such as a lack of long-term strategy and unclear goals, poor employee engagement and generic wellness programs. Segmented employees based on characteristics like mode of work, company sizes and employee personas. Analyzed demographics, including gender, age groups and ethnicity.    
  • Experimented with different strategies such as value-based pricing, competition pricing, penetration pricing, freemium model, and cost-plus pricing.  
  • Gained insights into subscription and setup fees through competitor analysis, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of pricing structuresc in the market. 

Market & Operational Strategy

  • Made a detailed document with various market strategies for the company such as enhancing google ranking, utilizing ads on different platforms, attending industry events and conferences and incorporating client testimonials and referrals.  
  • Derived a compelling sales pitch narrative by highlighting the company’ clear value proposition of addressing HR challenges faced by B2B clients. 
  • Enhanced the current sales strategy by helping with target customer segmentation, developing a sales pitch framework and planning an acquisition strategy to drive growth and customer acquisition.  
  • Created a foundational operational strategy including SOP, AI integration, Automation along with a structured short-term and long-term plan as a part of the scaling strategy.  

Revenue and Cost Analysis

  • Created a cost worksheet that includes one-time costs and variables such as marketing, sales, technology, and third-party providers. Analyzed these total fixed and variable costs to conduct a detailed pricing analysis.
  • Conducted a sensitivity and scenario analysis using details such as the number of employees, implementation fees and the number of months.  
  • Developed a cost forecast to understand the average initial cost to break even, ensuring a comprehensive approach to financial planning and sustainability.
